Thanksgiving
Nov. 23rd, 2006 11:19 amSo much to be thankful for: good health, good relationship, good friends, good place to live, good dog, mostly good family.
Things certainly aren't perfect: mean people who hate someone for being different in some way, stoopid people who tread very heavily on the earth & don't think of the long-term consequences of their actions on the environment, my father who still isn't talking to me, the war in Iraq.
When I look around, though, I know that there are people around the world who have to think hard to find anything for which they are thankful. I don't have that problem, and I'm very thankful for that.
