Friends in high places
Oct. 26th, 2005 05:54 pmTurns out that I have lots of friends in high places, and they let me visit. Nancy lives on the 39th floor of a building near Times Square. It was a great location for when Mark & I visited NYC and saw some plays. Geoff has a cabin in Truckee and has graciously allowed Mark & me (and Loupi) to use it on ski trips. From the front porch of Bob & Ellen's house, I can look down on the Elizabethan Theater in Ashland, and it's a quick walk to go down to see a play. Greg & Darin have a great view of several mountains from their house on Aubrey Butte. Cydney has offered to let me stay on the third floor of her house when I'm visiting Cleveland (but I usually stay on the second floor of Mark & Brian's).
I don't know what I did to deserve all this hospitality, but I hope that I can repay it in some way.
